Mermaid Card - CCC Digi Creations

I have a fun little card today for you all that I made for CCC Digi Creations challenge that is up on their blog. I colored cute Mermaid "The Gift" image by Aurora Wings with Copic markers. Cut them out and used some Stickles to give them some sparkle, pop dotted them onto the background. For the background I dusted off some Alcohol Inks and used them on one of those cellophane bags that stickers come in. Adhered it to some Paper House Endless Summer paper to give the card a really cool water look to it. Stuck some random stickers and some pearls and some glass filler to create some sand. The glass filler by 13arts is my newest find and I absolutly LOVE it!

This fortnight's sponsor for the CCC Digi Creations is:

The prize for the lucky winner of this challenge will get $10.00 USD worth of digital stamps of their choice from Aurora Wings.  For a chance to win this great prize all you have to do the challenge and enter your project at CCC Digi Creations.

Perfect Pumpkid - Colorful Creations

I'm getting in the Halloween spirit! I am really behind on scrapping my kids Halloween pictures. I think it is because I tend to only want to scrap them during the Halloween season and then I move onto Christmas pictures which I am also really behind on.
Over at Colorful Creations there is an awesome moodboard and sketch that was perfect to help me get some of my Halloween pictures scrapped. I had so much fun making this page. I started with spreading a thin layer of Gesso behind the picture area on the background paper. I then used some tissue paper and stuck it down to the Gesso and made sure it wasn't flat so it crinkled up some. I then poured a little Gesso on my Teflon mat and sprayed some Dylusions onto it to make an orange color. Spread that over the tissue paper with a old credit card to give some orange streaks. Then flicked some black color shine over that and also spread sightly with the credit card to give a few black streaks. Let dry. Then spread some Clear Rock Candy and let to dry to give the background a crackle look. Once that was dry I randomly sprayed some Tattered Angels Pumpkin Pie mist and let it run some down the page and so it spread out through the crackles. Added some rubons and some glass filler to the bottom  of the trees sprayed with black color shine for more depth. I even added a little bit of the spider wed stuff that was using to decorate the house with.
Here is the finished results.....

This is the sketch and moodboard I used for my inspiration.

Snow Fun - Let's Capture Our Memories

I saw this fun sketch over at Let's Capture Our Memories and had to use it. I've had these pictures of my daughter crawling threw the snow tunnel that her daddy made for her going to our neighbors driveway that I knew would be perfect for this sketch.

I used some glitter on a chipboard snowflakes I had. Also added some Heidi Swapp Ghost Shapes and Bo Bunny Chunky Charms.

On the background I did some dots with modeling paste and a stencil and flicked some Metallic Ayeeda Paint by 13arts over that. Sprayed some Tattered Angels Chalkboard Glimmer Mist too.

Gotta love the glitter Thickers! Also in a few spots I used some glass filler by 13arts to create some snow. You can see it in this picture below the S of snow.

and here is my sketch inspiration.

Zoorassic Park - Let's Get Sketchy

It's time to get sketchy! Today is a new sketch reveal at Let's Get Sketchy. The sketch worked perfectly for this panoramic picture I had of my son feeding the giraffes. I used a stencil with Copic markers and airbrushed the giraffe print around the background and used some waterpaints to get the green behind the picture. On the circle I sprayed some Tattered Angels to get the light brown color and the Copic markers airbrushed over that for the pattern. The papers I used on this page were actually in a big box of stuff that I put together awhile ago of things to get rid of. Trying to clean out my stash really doesn't work well when I keep taking stuff out of the box of stuff I'm supposed to be getting rid of....lol

Here is the sketch I based my page from.

Texas Star - Sketchabilities

Gelato's, do you have any? Have you tried them? They are soooo much! I used a sketch from Sketchabilities, sketch #124 for my page. I loved the hexagon shapes in this sketch!
On the background paper I cut the hexagon shapes out with my Cameo. I also stamped some random circle images and then stamped some grid stamps with VersaMark and embossed with clear embossing powder. Over that I rubbed some Gelato's on my background and then used my finger to spread it around. Took a baby wipe and wiped over the background to remove the Gelato from the embossing to bring the grid stamping back out. Gelato's with the embossing makes a pretty cool effect, or at least I think it does! I also cut my title out on my Cameo.

Product List:

Cardstock: American Craft
Patterned paper: Basic Grey Capture & Glitz Kismet
Embellishments: Raffle Tickets, Pink Paislee Tickets, Rain Drops
Stickers: Glitz, Washi Tape
Stamps: Lizzie Anne
Mixed Media: Gelato, Hero Arts, Heidi Swapp Color Shine, StazOn
Writing Tools: Zig
Miscellaneous: Silhouette Cameo
