Birdy - Let's Get Sketchy

Happy Monday everyone! There is a brand new sketch up over at Let's Get Sketchy and here is my take on it. I used a really old Basic Grey collection and Gesso and some mists on the background. I also used one of the November challenges over at My Scraps & More, I needed to use a collection that was at least 1 year old and 1 random item from my stash that doesn't really go with anything. I used the pink felt Sassafras Lass bird, I've had that cute little guy for awhile but have never really found anything it worked for.

#1 Cutest Pumpkin - My Scraps & More & Colorful Creations

Hello everyone! I used the cute sketch over at Colorful Creations and the color palette from My Scraps & More Pinspirational Crop challenge for this page. I also used my Cameo Silhouette to cut the title out and stamped some random leaves on the background paper and flicked some tattered angels mists on it too.  

I've had this Prima flower vine for awhile. I cut it up and layered some Fancy Pants True Friends chipboard pieces over it.

My title I cut out on my Cameo and then cut a shadow layer of it.

Believe - Let's Get Sketchy

It's another sketchy Monday at Let's Get Sketchy, with a new sketch reveal today! I'm really happy that I finally got these pictures of my son scrapped. One year we got him his very own Christmas Tree to decorate. We colored Cheerios and strung them on a string and he was so proud of his little tree. I also got to use the new Simple Stories Cozy Christmas collection that I got from the My Scraps & More store. Love these papers, and embellies!

Let It Snow Snowman Card - Turtle Soup

Sharing another cute card I made for the Sunday card challenge over at Turtle Soup. I cut out the snowman and his scarf on my cricut and then embossed him with some Stampendous embossing powder. Stamped over him with flourish stamp and then pop dotted him to give him a little more dimension. Can the dark blue cardstock piece through my Epic with a Sizzix folder, the dots kinda look like snow.

You & Me - Let's Capture Our Memories

Today is my 1st design team reveal with Let's Capture Our Memories! I am very excited to be a part of this fabulous team of designers. Here is my design team reveal and the LCOM sketch I used for inspiration.

I used some Gesso with a stencil on the background and sprayed it with some gold mist. I also sprayed the doilie with some Antique Brass Mist by Tattered Angels.

I found this pretty Prima flower vine in my stash.

Sugar Plum - My Scraps & More Sketch #93

Over on the My Scraps & More Sketch blog there is a new sketch up by Audrey and oh my did I ever love this sketch. I went totally non traditional for this cute Christmas picture of my daughter. I think this Snow Day Collection by Crate Paper is one of my all time favorite Christmas lines. I love the non traditional colors of it and all the super cute chipboard pieces.

White on White Christmas Card - Turtle Soup

Sharing a simple yet elegant white on white Christmas card I made for a scraplift challenge over at Turtle Soup.  I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder and some snowflake stickers from Stampendous and went over the embossing with some Smooch Pearlized Accent Ink. Added some pearls and viola!

Puppy Love - Red Carpet Studio & Creative Craft Cottage

Hello, today I'm sharing a layout I did for Red Carpet Studio #83 Marley & Me Challenge & used the color palette over at Creative Craft Cottage. For the background of my page I used a stencil with modeling paste and then a Pink Gelato and some water paints. Did a few random stamps and lightly splattered some black color shine. I always have fun mixing different mediums and creating my own backgrounds.

The pictures are of our new puppy Cocoa. She's not supposed to be on couch but she was so cute sitting there that I had to take a few pictures of her before making her get down. :)

Snowman Tag - CCC Digi Creations

Happy November 1st! Since it is going to be Christmas before we know it I have been working on some Christmas cards and tags. I created this tag for the CCC Digi Creations Challenge #12 to use a digi and tag. For my digi image I used this cute Snow Mail image at Whimsy Stamps. I also used some Tim Holtz distress ink on the tag background and some Stickles for the glitter.
