Beach Art Decor - CropStop

Hello, today I have a fun and simple to create mixed media art decor piece that I created for the CropStop. The Mix the Media Galvanized Plaques by Jillibean Soup, are so much fun and the possibilities are endless as to what you can do with them.

With summer almost here I decided to go with a mixed media art decor in a beach theme.

I first applied some Prima Art Basics Heavy Gesso in White onto the plaque and let it dry for about 5 minutes and stamped into the Gesso with the Prima Fence - Vintage Vanity Clear Stamp.

Once the Gesso was completely dry, I then sprayed it with some Dylusions Ink Spray, I used the Campso Teal color.

I adhered some rope or cording around the outside of the plaque with a hot glue gun. Then I added some burlap pieces, stickers, letters, and some Petaloo Flowers also with a hot glue gun. Then to finish up my mixed media art decor piece I used some glitter. To get the glitter to stay, I randomly applied some Prima Art Basics Matte Gel in Transparent and then sprinkled the glitter over the gel.

Super easy, and now I have a gorgeous mixed media art decor piece to hang on my wall to remind me how badly I need a vacation to the beach. :)

Be sure to check out the CropStop Shop to find all the supplies to create this project and so much more!

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a happy crafty day!!

Enjoying Life - The Little Blue House

Hey, everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. Today I am sharing a layout I made for The Little Blue House. I used the Echo Park Anything Goes Collection.

On the background, I used some Art Basics Heavy Gesso in white to break up the solid blue color of the background and then layers some of the Echo Park Anything Goes papers. Over the paper layers, I used a cut piece of the Bella Blvd Clear Cuts.

Using some ribbon and stickers from the Echo Park Anything Goes collection a super cute Maya Road Mini Say Cheese chipboard piece I made a fun embellishment cluster. I really love the We R Memory Keepers Aqua Sequin Stickers.

Thank you for looking and make sure to visit The Little Blue House Blog for even more inspiration!
