A Witchy Halloween Shaker Card

Hello! Sharing a fun Witchy Halloween shaker card I created just in time for the spooky holiday.

Poppystamps has provided me with some of the products to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own and I only design for companies that I completely love their products.

I had made a video showing you all how I created this card but technology was not on my side and somehow the video got corrupted and I lost it. :( So I will do my best to explain how I created my card.
I first started with a white piece of cardstock for my card front and rounded off the top of it.  Then using some Copic markers and an airbrush machine I sprayed the top half with some orange markers and the bottom half with green markers. I then took the Poppystamps Magical Cauldron Die and cut it out of the background piece I used the Copics on. For the witch, I used the Poppystamps Spellcaster Witch Die and cut the witch out of black cardstock. Just under the Cauldron, I used the Fa-Boo-Lous stamp from the Poppystamps Halloween Fun Stamp Set. Where I cut out the cauldron on the backside I added a piece of acetate and then added some 3D foam tape around the cauldron to add some shaker elements and then went all the way around the rest of the back of the card front with the 3D foam tape. Then attached the card front the card base to seel in the shaker elements.

Using one of the circles from the MemoryBox Basic Circle dies I cut out a moon and used airbrushed some yellow Copic Markers on it and adhered it to my card. Stamped some bats from the Halloween Fun Stamp Set around the moon. Then I adhered the witch to the front of the card with some 3D foam squares.

Interested in the products I used? Products that are still available are linked to multiple shops below, for your convenience.

I design for several companies because I truly love their products! Anything I recommend on my blog is something that I genuinely love and regularly use. I buy most of my own supplies. However, I do receive some free product to work with and I sometimes make money for the projects I make. I DO NOT get paid for product reviews, I give my honest opinion about the products I use and I will never recommend a product that I do not like or would not use.

  1. Hi, Nadine! Do you have a favorite 3D foam tape that you like?

    1. Hello! I love and use Scotch foam tape. It is a huge roll so it last forever and if I need it to be thicker I will double layer it and cut it in half if I need it to be thinner. Here is a link to what I use, it is the best price that I have been able to find it for... https://amzn.to/2EB75Vl
