Christmas Window Card Using Poppystamps

Today I am sharing another Christmas card with you all. I tried to make it look like you were looking inside through the window from outside. Not sure if I accomplished that or not but it was still a fun card to make.

After I die cut all my pieces out, I like to lay them on my card to get an idea of what it will look like before I start adhering anything down.

To create the background, I ran VersaFine Clair Ink in Acorn over a Sizzix Wood Plank Embossing Folder and then embossed a tan piece of cardstock. I then die cut out the Poppystamps Cottage Window in brown cardstock, added some 3D foam squares to the back of the window frame and attached a piece of white cardstock and then more foam squares to the back and adhered it to the front of my card. The shutters of the window I added some foam squares and slide them behind the frame of the window.

I die cut out the dove from the Poppystamps Dove and Olive Branch and two of Poppystamps Holiday Mistletoe dies from white cardstock. Then colored the mistletoe's with some Copic Markers and airbrushed some light grey Copic onto the dove. The olive branch from the Dove and Olive Branch, I cut several times using green cardstock. The Christmas Tree in the window, I cut out using the Poppystamps Whittle Trees die and added some tiny gold pearls to it to look like garland.

Then added flowers and some Neon Radiant Amplify in white to the bottom and top of the window. When using a heat tool to heat up the Amplify it puffs up to give it a snow like appearance.
