Halloween cards are one of my favorite types of cards to make. I had a lot of fun making this tombstone Halloween slimline card.

I first started by creating the tombstones. I used light gray cardstock, sprayed it with some gray, black, and chalkboard white color sprays, and let it dry.
I then stamped the Crackerbox Stamps Tombstone with VersaFine Clair Nocturne but it wasn't as dark as I wanted it to be so I embossed it with some black embossing powder but pouring the powder directly over the VersaFine Clair ink since it is also embossing ink and then heat set it. I stamped the tombstone 3 times. Then I stamped the I. Emma Ghost, Izzy Dead, and Bea A. Fraid on each of the tombstones and heat embossed them too. Next, I fussy cut each one out.
For the background sky, I used dark blue cardstock and inked the edges with some Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending brush. To give it more of a sky look, I then flicked on some of the white chalkboard spray onto it.

For the grass, I used green cardstock and inked it just like how I did the sky. I didn't have a grass die cut so I freehand cut the grass blades. It would have been much easier if I had a die to do that with. I layered up 2 pieces of the grass with one being taller then the front one so I could tuck the tombstones behind them. Next, I stamped a couple of the Crackerbox Stamps Ghost Flying and fussy cut them out and tucked them in behind the tombstones. At the bottom of the card, on the grass I stamped the Crackerbox Stamps Happy Haunting Drips with VersaMark and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.
