Pet Rock Station with Deflecto

During the stay at home orders, my daughter started a few different craft projects and one of them was painting rocks. So I made her a pet rock station for her to be able to keep her supplies organized and also so she could bring them to where she was working.

Some of the products I have used have been provided to me from various companies I design for. The opinions I share are solely my own, and I only design for companies that I completely love their products. Affiliate links may be used where possible at no cost to you. However, I do earn a small commission when you click on my links and make a purchase from them. Thank you, and I appreciate your support!

First, we gathered up some rocks from around the house. Lots of different sizes but none were bigger than a fist size. The rocks worked great in the medium compartment in the Deflecto Caddy Organizer.

Then we grabbed several different paint colors. The 2oz bottles fit perfectly in any of the compartments in the Deflecto Caddy Organizer. I was able to fit 16 bottles into the largest compartment.

Now that we are all organized my daughter was ready to start painting.

She had fun painting several different rocks. To help protect the work surface we used a plastic table cover, although she was very neat and didn't make a mess. After she painted a few of the rocks and the paint was dry we then sealed them with Mod Podge Outdoor Sealer.

Here are some close-ups of a few of the rocks she painted.

Creative Christmas Gift Using The Interlocking Stacking Tower Organizer by Deflecto

Looking for a creative Christmas gift for your crafty friends? One thing that I know almost all of my crafty friends can always use is organization ideas. Especially for tiny things like brads and eyelets. So I turned the perfect organizational idea into a sweet snowman that can be used for craft organization after the holidays.

Some of the products I have used have been provided to me from various companies I design for. The opinions I share are solely my own, and I only design for companies that I completely love their products.

I used the Deflecto Interlocking Stacking Tower Organizer and filled each one of the three sections with a different flavor of Hershey Kisses. Then wrapped some Rinea Starstruck Foiled Paper in Ebony around the top section and adhered it with a little hot glue. Hot glue is great to use on hard acrylic like this because it will easily scrape off later so once Christmas is over it can be used to organize craft supplies.
For the eyes and mouth, I used some Nuvo Crystal Drop in Ebony Black that can also be easily scraped off later and cut a small carrot nose out of orange cardstock. Then I made a scarf by using a red ribbon.

I like having my brads and eyelets separated in each one of the canisters of the Deflecto Interlocking Stacking Tower Organizer, it makes it easy to find what I am looking for. Each canister can also be separate or stacked together so they take up less room.

Back To School Scrapbook Layout

Today I am sharing a back to school scrapbook layout. My daughter just started 8th grade and I could have sworn she was just in kindergarten last month. No clue where the time has gone!

Creative Embellishments & Xyron has provided me with some of the product to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own.

Did you know that Xyron now has a new machine called the Glaminator? The Galminator is an awesome foil transfer machine. It has 3 different settings, one for foil transferring, one for using lamination pouches with heat and another one for pouches with cold lamination. I used it to transfer foil onto some chipboard pieces from Creative Embellishments.

Watch my video below to see how I did it and how the Glaminator works....

Here are some closeup photos of how shiny and pretty the foil looks on my layout.

Below is a process video of how I created my layout.

More closeups of my layout are below. Also, check out the cool details of the 49 and Market Old School papers I used. Love this collection!!

StazOn Ink Mythbusting

Have you heard that StazOn Ink and StazOn All Purpose Cleaner will ruin your clear stamps? Well, I would like to say that I have been using StazOn Ink for 15 yrs. if not longer with my clear stamps, expensive ones, and nonexpensive ones and have never had an issue with any of my stamps. Yes, StazOn is a solvent ink so it can and will stain your stamps but most of the time if you use the StazOn Cleaner right away on your stamps they will clean right up.
My problem is that I am lazy and tend not to clean my stamps after using them. Even though I don't clean them right away and the ink is left on them years later they are still fine and stamp just as well as they did when they were new.

Watch my video below for more info on using StazOn with clear stamps.

How To Save Your Misti Grid Paper Pad

Hi all! Does your Misti grid paper look like you've been using it as a stamp scratchpad? Well, mine did and I was down to my last few sheets and didn't want to buy more.

So to save my Misti Grid Paper I laminated my last few pieces with the Xyron 9" Double Sided Laminate Refill.

Watch my video tutorial below to see how to do it.
Make sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel so you will get updates when I post a new video.

Now that it is laminated all I have to do is wipe off the ink from it.  Great solution for the crafter on a budget, like me! :)
