2nd Annual {SAS}sy Blog Hop!

If my blog is the first place you have visited…welcome! To make sure you don’t miss out on any of the blogs in the {SAS}sy Blog Hop I suggest you start at the beginning by visiting the Scrap Attack Scrapbooking Blog 1st and work your way through all 11 blogs so you don't miss out on any of the awesome inspiration everyone has put together.

One of my favorite lines is Pink Paislee. The Pink Paislee Bayberry Cottage Collection has these awesome "Press Ons" that I LOVE LOVE LOVE! There are so many different things you can do with them you can apply them straight onto your layouts or cards, or on Thickers Chipboard Alphas or even on flowers. Yes, I said flowers! Check it out, below I applied them directly onto some plain white Prima "Daisy" Festive Flowers.

All I did was take some of the plain white Prima "Daisy" Festive Flowers from the Scrap Attack Scrapbooking store and randomly rubbed the "Press Ons" directly onto the flowers.

For the centers of the flowers I applied some quick dry glue and twisted up some twine and placed in the center of the flower on top of the glue.

and here is what my final layout looks like with the flowers and the Pink Paislee Bayberry Cottage Collection.

Scrap Attack Scrapbooking will be donating prizes from all comments left on all participating blogs so make sure and comment so you are eligible to win! As a {BONUS} there is a hidden word on each blog that can be pieced together to make a familiar {SAS}sy phrase. If you can unscramble the words to make this phrase you could win a $50 gift certificate to the Scrap Attack Scrapbooking store. For more details on the prizes, please see the Scrap Attack Scrapbooking blog.

Your final word is: SCRAP
If you have been to all 11 blogs on the {SAS}sy Blog Hop then you should have all the words to unscramble the phrase. When you have the phrase unscrambled, simply email ScrapAttackScrapbooking AT MSN.com with your phrase.

Good luck to everyone and hopefully you enjoyed the {SAS}sy Blog Hop this week and that you have recieved lots of inspiration from all the talented ladies who helped out with our blog hop. Thank you for "hopping" along with us!

Interested in being a {SAS}sy star for a week??

2 simple questions for you: do you love to use Scrap Attack Scrapbooking products and do you love to show off your work? If you can answer yes to both of the above...this challenge is for you!

This is so simple it can hardly be considered a challenge. {wink!} All you have to do is create a layout, card or altered item using supplies from the Scrap Attack Scrapbooking Store. To quality for this challenge, your project needs to use at least 75% of supplies that can be found in the {SAS}sy Store. When you are finished with your project, simply post your creation in the {SAS}sy Creative Gallery.

Every Sunday we will be picking one creation from the Creative Gallery to be highlighted on the SAS Blog, Facebook and Twitter page. Each time we pick one of your creations you will be entered into a drawing for a special prize at the end of the year from Scrap Attack Scrapbooking! These projects may be combined with any of the Scrap Attack Scrapbooking Challenges as long as they contain at least 75% of SAS products on them.

The more you upload into the Creative Gallery the better your chances that you will be picked and be entered into our drawing. So run and start pulling out your favorite Scrap Attack Scrapbooking supplies, start creating and don't forget to upload your work! We can't wait to see what you all come up with - good luck to everyone.

July {SAS}sy DT reveal

This month for my Scrap Attack Scrapbooking DT kit I got the coolest supplies to work with. I really loved that it wasn't girly. Don't get me wrong, I love the girly stuff too for my little girl but the Fancy Pants - Like Father Like Son line is perfect for "boys" of all ages and even though it is boy paper I was still able to do a layout of my daughter. I was amazed at how well The Little Yellow Bicycle - Generation Z embellishements mixed with this line. I also got a sheet of Hambly "Black" Brickwall 12x12 Overlay, which I LOVED. I have always wanted to get one of these overlays but never have before. Now I'm going to have to get some more to play with. Then of course there is my all time new favorite bling by Queen & Company the Rox Collection. These things are the coolest and they come in so many different colors!

Here are my layouts for this month. TFL!

Fireworks

I hope everyone had a terrific 4th of July! We went downtown for the first time in a really long time and spent the day hanging out and waiting for the fireworks to start. They shot the fireworks off from the top of the 2 towers of the Nugget. Breana and Chase got their picture taken by the Reno Gazette Journal while dancing and singing to the band. Breana had this cool headband on that had a fake microphone attached to it so she thought she was Lady GaGa. Great, that is who every parent wants their daughter to grow up and be!!

Here is a video I took with my cell phone of the fireworks. The audio isn't the best but you get the idea and there was a lot people around me cheering.
