How To Create An Ocean Scene Canvas Using Stencils

Hello! I have the beach on my mind a lot lately. Not sure if we will be able to make it to the beach this year so I am crafting about it instead.

I started with a The Crafter's Workshop TCW9053 Mixed Media 6×6 Board and sprayed it with some color sprays. Then I mixed some Derwent Inktense Blocks with some The Crafter's Workshop TCW9052 Super Thick Gel and The Crafter's Workshop TCW918 Seahorse Stencil.

Then used The Crafter's Workshop TCW868 Gulf Coast Flora, The Crafter's Workshop TCW867 Gulf Coast Creatures, and The Crafter's Workshop TCW888 Dendritic stencils to create an ocean scene.

Quick and Easy Canvas Wall Art

Hello! Today I am sharing a quick and easy canvas wall art that I made for my daughter's newly remodeled room.

I first started with a mixed media board and used some turquoise color burst on the board. Once it was dry I then used The Crafter's Workshop Screen View Stencil with some VersaFine Clair Morning Mist ink.

Then I used The Crafter's Workshop Word Stems Stencil with some The Crafter's Workshop Tacky When Dry.

When The Crafter's Workshop Tacky When Dry is wet it is white and when it is dry it will be clear. Once it was dry, I then added some transfer foil.

Spooky Halloween Mixed Media Canvas

Hello! Today I am sharing a spooky Halloween mixed media canvas with you all. Sometimes I just like to sit down with no plans in mind and start crafting. This is exactly how I came up with this Halloween canvas.

I used lots of inks and embossing powders on all of the chipboard pieces. On the Creative Embellishments Creepy Gates chipboard pieces, I first sprayed them with some brown color spray and then inked them with black and embossed them with some copper and silver embossing powders. 

The tree and tombstone are from the Creative Embellishments Halloween Scene 2 chipboard set and I followed the same steps as I did for the Creative Embellishments Creepy Gates, but I used a black hologram embossing powder from Imagine on them instead and also used some white ink on the tombstone.

The spider web also is from the Creative Embellishments Halloween Scene 2 chipboard set. I sprayed the web with some black color spray and then inked it with some white ink and then embossed it with some iridescent embossing powder.

For the branches in the top corners, I cut up one of the Creative Embellishments Creepy Trees chipboards and then I adhered the owl from the Creative Embellishments Halloween Scene 2 set. The owl I sprayed with some brown color spray and the branches I followed the same process as I did for the tree.

How To Create A Mixed Media Inspire Canvas

Today I am sharing how to create a mixed media inspire canvas using mixed media products from Imagine and chipboard from Creative Embellishments.

I am not used to going with such a neutral color theme but I was trying to go for a vintage look.
