Family Puzzle Time - What Are You Doing While Being Quarantined?

Do you like doing puzzles? Lately, since we have been staying home we have been doing a lot of puzzles. Plus puzzles are a great way to help entertain those bored kids that are stuck at home right now and a great thing to do as a family. What are you all doing to stay busy during this time? Are you doing crafts or other things? I wish my daughter was more into crafts but she is more of an outdoors person and likes playing sports. Puzzles are one of the few things she enjoys doing indoors.

Since we are very seldom able to finish a puzzle in one day we end up leaving the pieces laying out on the table making it a lot of fun for our cat to knock the piece onto the floor and sometimes we lose them.

Some of the products I have used have been provided to me from various companies I design for. The opinions I share are solely my own, and I only design for companies that I completely love their products. Affiliate links may be used where possible at no cost to you. However, I do earn a small commission when you click on my links and make a purchase from them. Thank you, and I appreciate your support!

So I started using the Deflecto Interlocking Craft Tilt 6 Bin to keep all the pieces in. We sort the puzzle pieces in each bin by color.

Another great advance of using the Deflecto Interlocking Craft Tilt is that each bin is removable to so each person doing the puzzle can have their own bin of pieces to work with and can be brought to their corner of the puzzle.

I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy!

A Great Way To Organize Coffee K-Cups

Have you ever used something from your craft room in your kitchen? I found a great way to organize my coffee k-cups!

I had an extra Washi Tape 3-Drawer Organizer from Deflecto and since I needed something to store and organize my coffee k-cups in, I thought I would see if it would work.
It works, it works and looks soo much better than having the big unattractive box they came in sitting on my counter.

I know this is not a typical post from me but since I found another great use for one of my craft supply products I figured I would share it with you all, plus coffee and crafting go so well together.
Check out that organization! Now I can get more flavors. ;)

Home Organization Made Easy

I have had a junk drawer in my kitchen that needed some major organizing. I had things like cat toys, rubber bands, tools, batteries and more. I couldn't ever find anything in it, especially the right size battery I was looking for.

Deflecto's Carousel Rotating Organizer with 9 bins was the perfect solution to clean out my junk drawer. Since the carousel rotates I was able to move it into my pantry and can rotate it to find the bin I need. Plus, now I can use that drawer in my kitchen for "kitchen" things.
I love how the bins are clear making it really easy to see what is in each one. So things like batteries are now organized by size and quick and easy to find the right one.

The Deflecto Carousel Rotating Organizer has 9 bins. Three of the bins are 6" tall and six of the bins are 3" tall. Perfect for storing small and tall items.
The base rotates so you can spin it around to find what you need quick and easy.

Each bin is a clear canister and has a snap-tight lid that can be easily removed to get what you need inside each bin.

School Locker Organization

With school about to start back up again, it is time to start thinking about school shopping or locker organization. I don't know about you all but neither one is a favorite thing of mine to do. But, I did have fun personalizing these things for my daughter's locker.

StyleTechCraft & Deflecto has provided me with some of the product to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own.

I found this "don't stress meowt" image online and cut it out using StyleTechCraft FX Ultra Metallic Magenta Vinyl and my Silhouette Cameo and the Studio Designers Software.

Here are the cut settings I used.....

I then used the StyleTechCraft Clear Transfer Tape with Grid Liner to transfer the image to Deflecto Interlocking Single Tilt Bin. Then using the pick tool from the StyleTechCraft Tool Kit to weed out the small areas in the middle of the letters.

I followed all the same process as above but used the StyleTechCraft FX Ultra Metallic Rust Vinyl and the StyleTechCraft Matte Black Vinyl for this image. I layered some of the Rust vinyl over the black.

For the binders, I used StyleTechCraft FX Ultra Metallic Pacific Teal Vinyl and the font I used is AR Christy.

The Deflecto Interlocking Single Tilt Bins fit perfectly under the shelf and can hold so many different things to keep them organized, they can also be hung on a wall if you do not want to use them in a locker. I only used 2 out of the 4 pack of bins but they can be bought individually as well.

My Craft Room Organization

Hello! I do not normally like to show my craft room as it is organized for me but is also rather cluttered at the same time. About six months ago, I ended up having to move my craft room to make room for my mom to move in. So we turned the front dining room which is much smaller than my old craft room into my craft room and my old craft room became my daughter's bedroom.  The fact of the matter is that I just have waaaayyy toooooo much stuff so moving into a smaller room has been challenging! I guess I am kinda a hoarder when it comes to my craft supplies, but aren't most of us?
So I thought I would share some of the ways I "try" to keep myself organized even though it is not a pretty craft room like so many others are.

Here a quick photo of what it looked like when I was trying to get my new craft room organized while they were building the new wall with a pocket door. The chandelier was taken out and replaced with a fanlight and some recessed lighting was also added.

All those bags on the shelves are paper collections and kits and my shelves and desk are from the Container Store. The white boxes are from Michaels.

I am one of those crafters that I like to have things in sight and nearby because once it is out of sight it is out of mind and does not get used. So I use a lot of clear and metal mesh drawers.

One of my favorite organizers that I have nearby my main crafting area is the Deflecto Craft Tilt Bin. I have them in all sizes!

Below is a video I did showing how awesome these Deflecto Craft Tilt Bins are.

On top of my workspace, I have some Deflecto Stackable Cube Organizers with 2 Drawers and 4 Drawers. These work great to have those items I use regularly close by.

Below is a video of the Deflecto Stackable Cubes...

My next favorite organizer is my Deflecto Stackable Caddies and the Stack n' Go Wheel Base. This is such an awesome system! I love how it can be rolled around and how each caddy can be taken off and brought to where I need it.

The caddies fit perfectly under my workspace when not in use.

For the items I do not use as often I have these two big wood pantries.

On the opposite wall behind me is my husbands work desk which I will be honest and admit has turned into an extra place for me to pile things onto so I won't show you that side of the room... lol
Next to his desk though I have an old bookcase that I use to store all my scrapbook albums on. I really need to actually start putting my layouts into those albums.

In front of the bookcase, I have some more rollabouts. The one with the color drawers is where I keep all my flowers, I organize them by color in each drawer. My two crafty sidekicks are in the window enjoying the sun.

I hope you enjoyed this little tour of my craft room. Hopefully, you got some craft room organization ideas that you can use for yourself as well. Now, are you ready for some more great craft rooms?

Organize Your Junk Drawers With Deflecto

I don't know about everyone else but I had a junk drawer in my kitchen that needed some major organizing. I had things from cat toys to batteries in and I couldn't ever find anything in it, especially the right size battery I was looking for.  Deflecto's Carousel Rotating Organizer with 9 bin was the perfect solution to clean out and organize my junk drawer.
Take a look at how easy it is to see and find all the different size batteries I had and who knew that I had that many because I sure didn't!

The Carousel Rotating Organizer has 9 bins. Three of the bins are 6" tall and six of the bins are 3" tall. Perfect for storing small and tall items.

The base rotates so you can spin it around to see to find what you need.

Each bin is a clear view canister and has a snap tight lid that can be easily removed to get what you need inside each bin.

Organize Your Kids Bathroom With Deflecto

Hello! One thing my house is really lacking in drawers in the bathroom cabinets. So things like toothbrushes, tooth paste, hair brushes and things are always all over my daughter's bathroom counter.  So I decorated a Deflecto X-Divider Stackable Organizer to match the theme she already has in her bathroom. It works perfectly for her to quickly place her items in after use so they are no longer cluttering up the counter.

Below is a tutorial video showing exactly how decorated it.
Make sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel to get updates when I post a new video.

Love the fishes, they are so cute!
