How To Create Plaid Hearts For Valentine's Day Cards

Hello! Today I am sharing how I created my plaid heart slimline Valentine's Day card with dies and a stencil.

Some of the products I have used in this post have been provided to me by various companies. The opinions I share are solely my own. Affiliate links may be used where possible at no cost to you. However, I do earn a small commission when you click on my link and make a purchase from them. Thank you, and I appreciate your support!

Below is a video tutorial showing exactly how I created my project.

To create the plaid hearts, I used The Crafter's Workshop TCW955 Buffalo Plaid Square Stencil on a piece of red cardstock and used an ink blender and black ink to create the pattern. As shown below....

This is what it looked like completed.

Then I used Maker's Movement new Simple Heart Shaker Die to die cut out hearts from the plaid design I created and used the same die to die cut the Love letters from white cardstock. I also used the Maker's Movement Slimline Essentials Die to create the card front.
To adhere it all together using my Xyron Mega Runner and a few foam squares to raise up a couple of the hearts.

Artesprix Blog Hop With Designer Crafts Connection

Hello, crafty friends! Today I am sharing how to do a sublimation transfer onto canvas. This would make a great gift for your craft friends or anyone since you can customize the canvas bag using any kind of stamp image.

I know many of us have a lot of stamps that we do not use. Using them as a sublimation transfer onto canvas is a fun and different way to use them. All of the sublimation products I used are from Artesprix. The snarky stamps are from Crackerbox Stamps.
Below is a video tutorial showing exactly how I created my project.

My close-up photos below show how well the images transferred onto the canvas.

DIY Autumn Animal Print Wreath

It is hard to believe that Autumn is right around the corner. Seems like summer just started. Autumn is my favorite season and I love fall crafts. I usually make a new fall wreath every year. This year I decided to make an animal print one.

Some of the products I have used in this post have been provided to me by various companies. The opinions I share are solely my own. Affiliate links may be used where possible at no cost to you. However, I do earn a small commission when you click on my links and make a purchase from them. Thank you, and I appreciate your support!

For the animal print, I used the coolest Faux Leather Ribbon by Gwen Studios.
They have several different patterns and it was hard to choose which one I wanted to use but decide on the cheetah one since it matched the fall colors for my wreath. It was super easy to wrap around the foam ring and using the Xyron Multi-Stick Glue Gun to help hold it into place.

I used several leaves and some flowers and also adhered them to the wreath using the Xyron Multi-Stick Glue Gun. I was able to adhere everything to this wreath without having to add any more glue sticks since it holds three glue sticks at once. Which makes it really nice to not have to stop all the time to add another one.

Next, I hung it on my front door ready for the Autumn season.

The die & stamp set I used is Maker's Movement Just Chillin'. I also used Maker's Movement Wacky Waves to create the fun waves at the bottom of my card. To adhere everything together, I used my Xyron Tape Runner.

Here is the easel card standing up..

Transfer Foiled Cards Using Toner Paper

Hello! Today I am sharing some fun foiled cards I made. I love using transfer foils, it is easy to do and adds a great wow factor to your cards.

What made these cards so easy to make was the Ann Butler Designs toner papers. The designs are already on the paper so all you have to do is add the transfer foil to them.

I used the sampler pack so my pack had some geometric and flower designs in it and each pack also comes with solid toner sheets. To transfer the foil to the toner sheets, I used my Glaminator by Xyron with some DecoFoil in Rainbow Shattered Glass and Summer Rainbow.

Here are the two cards I created using the Flower and Geometric Toner Papers by Ann Butler Designs. I could not choose which pack I liked better so I went with the sample pack that came with three designs from each one, so six total. On each of these cards, I used one of the toner sentiment die from the samples. The first one I used the foil over the toner sentiment and the second one I used the negative to create a solid foil sentiment by using the solid toner sheet.

Here are the two cards I created using the solid toner sheets. The sample pack also comes with six of the solid toner sheets. I used a hello die on each of these cards to give them a fun look.

Graduation Card With A DIY Tassel

Hello! Today I am sharing a graduation card idea and a DIY tassel. This card is perfect to make in graduates school colors.

To create the graduation cap a diploma, I used Maker's Movement Graduation Cap die set. It was super easy to assemble. On the top part of the cap, I used 3D Foam Dots to give it some dimension. For the rest of the card, I used my Xyron Tape Runner.

Then for the sentiment, I used Maker's Movement Say It Loud stamp set and stamped it with VersaMark, and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder.

For the tassel, I used Embroidery Floss. To see exactly how I created it, watch my video above.
