Pet Rock Station with Deflecto

During the stay at home orders, my daughter started a few different craft projects and one of them was painting rocks. So I made her a pet rock station for her to be able to keep her supplies organized and also so she could bring them to where she was working.

Some of the products I have used have been provided to me from various companies I design for. The opinions I share are solely my own, and I only design for companies that I completely love their products. Affiliate links may be used where possible at no cost to you. However, I do earn a small commission when you click on my links and make a purchase from them. Thank you, and I appreciate your support!

First, we gathered up some rocks from around the house. Lots of different sizes but none were bigger than a fist size. The rocks worked great in the medium compartment in the Deflecto Caddy Organizer.

Then we grabbed several different paint colors. The 2oz bottles fit perfectly in any of the compartments in the Deflecto Caddy Organizer. I was able to fit 16 bottles into the largest compartment.

Now that we are all organized my daughter was ready to start painting.

She had fun painting several different rocks. To help protect the work surface we used a plastic table cover, although she was very neat and didn't make a mess. After she painted a few of the rocks and the paint was dry we then sealed them with Mod Podge Outdoor Sealer.

Here are some close-ups of a few of the rocks she painted.

Thank A Nurse Card

Do you know a nurse that could use a big thank you? I know several that could use one!

For the background of my card, I first stamped the Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps Thanks Big stamp with VersaMark ink and heat embossed it with Mboss Embossing Powder Jade Pearl.
Next, I used a blending brush with some VersaMagic Oasis Green going heavier towards the bottom and lighter towards the top.

Then I stamped the Crackerbox & Suzy Stamp Nurse with Memento Black Tuxedo and colored her in with Copic Markers. I also stamped a thermometer using the Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps Set of 3 Heart, Hat, Thermometer stamp with VersaMark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I wanted the "thanks" to stand out more so outlined it with a white pen and added some stitch like dashes around the edges of the card front and around the sentiment.

I do a lot of ink blending and have a lot of different ink blending tools. Some of them are small and hard to keep organized. I started using the Deflecto Stackable Cube with 2 Drawers and also with 4 Drawers. Because I have so many sponge daubers, I took one of the bigger drawers from the Deflecto 2 Drawer Cube and exchanged it with 2 of the smaller drawers from the Deflecto 4 Drawer Cube to fit all the daubers in and so that all of my ink blenders are all in the same cube.

Make sure to visit the Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps Store and check out all of their Superhero Nurse Stamps that are 20% OFF till the end of May.

Let's Monkey Around Valentine's Day Card

Are you looking for an idea for a Valentine's Day card that is masculine with a little bit of sass to it? Check out this Let's Monkey Around Valentine's Day Card I made.

Some of the products I have used have been provided to me from various companies I design for. The opinions I share are solely my own, and I only design for companies that I completely love their products.

I used several stamps from Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps to make my card. I first stamped the Monkey Love Stamp with Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black and then colored him in with Copic markers.

For the sentiment, I used the Monkey Around Stamp and stamped it with VersaFine Clair in Nocturne. I die cut both images out with Memory Box Circle Basics Set and also matted the monkey with red cardstock and the sentiment in black cardstock.
For the background, I used some Kraft cardstock and stamped the Lips Stamp with VersaMark Ink and then embossed it with Mboss Embossing Powder in Sparkle. Then I ran it through my Gemini Jr with the Sizzix 3-D Embossing Folder Confetti Hearts. On the raised up areas of the embossed hearts, I rubbed some Creative Expressions Cosmic Shimmer Metallic Enchanted Gold Gilding Polish over it to give it a fun gold shimmer.

Since I have been stamping more with red rubber stamps, I needed a better way to store them and be able to find them easier. How do you store yours?
I have been using the Three-Drawer Organizer by Deflecto and so far I am loving it.

It comes in a large or small size. The smaller size comes with dividers in the drawers and is what I am using. The larger one does not have dividers in the drawer so you can store things like 12x12 papers in it. I might have to invest in the bigger one if my stamp collection keeps growing.
Check out all the rubber stamps I was able to fit in there. With the dividers in each drawer, I was able to separate my stamps by themes which really helps to find what I am looking for.

Home Organization Made Easy

I have had a junk drawer in my kitchen that needed some major organizing. I had things like cat toys, rubber bands, tools, batteries and more. I couldn't ever find anything in it, especially the right size battery I was looking for.

Some of the products I have used have been provided to me from various companies I design for. The opinions I share are solely my own, and I only design for companies that I completely love their products.

Deflecto's Carousel Rotating Organizer with 9 bins was the perfect solution to clean out my junk drawer. Since the carousel rotates I was able to move it into my pantry and can rotate it to find the bin I need. Plus, now I can use that drawer in my kitchen for "kitchen" things.
I love how the bins are clear making it really easy to see what is in each one. So things like batteries are now organized by size and quick and easy to find the right one.

The Deflecto Carousel Rotating Organizer has 9 bins. Three of the bins are 6" tall and six of the bins are 3" tall. Perfect for storing small and tall items.
The base rotates so you can spin it around to find what you need quick and easy.

Each bin is a clear canister and has a snap-tight lid that can be easily removed to get what you need inside each bin.

Creative Christmas Gift Using The Interlocking Stacking Tower Organizer by Deflecto

Looking for a creative Christmas gift for your crafty friends? One thing that I know almost all of my crafty friends can always use is organization ideas. Especially for tiny things like brads and eyelets. So I turned the perfect organizational idea into a sweet snowman that can be used for craft organization after the holidays.

Some of the products I have used have been provided to me from various companies I design for. The opinions I share are solely my own, and I only design for companies that I completely love their products.

I used the Deflecto Interlocking Stacking Tower Organizer and filled each one of the three sections with a different flavor of Hershey Kisses. Then wrapped some Rinea Starstruck Foiled Paper in Ebony around the top section and adhered it with a little hot glue. Hot glue is great to use on hard acrylic like this because it will easily scrape off later so once Christmas is over it can be used to organize craft supplies.
For the eyes and mouth, I used some Nuvo Crystal Drop in Ebony Black that can also be easily scraped off later and cut a small carrot nose out of orange cardstock. Then I made a scarf by using a red ribbon.

I like having my brads and eyelets separated in each one of the canisters of the Deflecto Interlocking Stacking Tower Organizer, it makes it easy to find what I am looking for. Each canister can also be separate or stacked together so they take up less room.

Craft Flower Organization

How do you organize your craft flowers? This is something I have always struggled with. When I am crafting I am usually looking for specific colors and would have to dig through my drawers to find the right ones. But now I have the perfect solution!

Deflecto has provided me with some of the products to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own and I only design for companies that I completely love their products.

Deflecto's Rotating Carousel Organizer was the answer to all my flower and leaf organization issues. I love how I can organize my flowers by color now and take the bins of flowers that I need to my workspace instead of having all my flowers on my desk taking up much needed space to craft.

The Deflecto Rotating Carousel Organizer comes with 9 bins; 3 large ones and 6 smaller ones.

Not only do I use the Deflecto Rotating Carousel Organizer for my flowers I also use them to organize other small craft items like pompoms, brads, eyelets, buttons and so much more.

Flower Power Retro Layout & Paper Flower Organization

Hello! Today I am sharing a Flower Power retro layout I created.

Creative Embellishments has provided me with some of the product to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own and I only design for companies that I completely love their products.

Last year for Halloween I dressed up as a hippie flower girl.  I don't usually like doing layouts of just myself but once I saw the Creative Embellishments Flower Power chipboard sentiment with the peace signs I had to use them with this photo of me.

Below is a process video showing how I created my layout.
Make sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel and click the bell so you will get updates when I post a new video.

For the Flower Power chipboard sentiment and the peace signs that came with it, I embossed them with embossing powder.

I did the same with the Retro Flowers and clustered them around on my layout with the peace signs and paper flowers.

I adhered a couple of the flairs from the Peace Set into the center of some of the paper flowers.

I have tons of these paper flowers that I used on my layout and had the hardest time keeping them organized until I got the Deflecto Rotating Carousel. Now I can sort them by color easily and store them without having loose flowers in drawers like I did before.
