Let's Monkey Around Valentine's Day Card

Are you looking for an idea for a Valentine's Day card that is masculine with a little bit of sass to it? Check out this Let's Monkey Around Valentine's Day Card I made.

Some of the products I have used have been provided to me from various companies I design for. The opinions I share are solely my own, and I only design for companies that I completely love their products.

I used several stamps from Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps to make my card. I first stamped the Monkey Love Stamp with Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black and then colored him in with Copic markers.

For the sentiment, I used the Monkey Around Stamp and stamped it with VersaFine Clair in Nocturne. I die cut both images out with Memory Box Circle Basics Set and also matted the monkey with red cardstock and the sentiment in black cardstock.
For the background, I used some Kraft cardstock and stamped the Lips Stamp with VersaMark Ink and then embossed it with Mboss Embossing Powder in Sparkle. Then I ran it through my Gemini Jr with the Sizzix 3-D Embossing Folder Confetti Hearts. On the raised up areas of the embossed hearts, I rubbed some Creative Expressions Cosmic Shimmer Metallic Enchanted Gold Gilding Polish over it to give it a fun gold shimmer.

Since I have been stamping more with red rubber stamps, I needed a better way to store them and be able to find them easier. How do you store yours?
I have been using the Three-Drawer Organizer by Deflecto and so far I am loving it.

It comes in a large or small size. The smaller size comes with dividers in the drawers and is what I am using. The larger one does not have dividers in the drawer so you can store things like 12x12 papers in it. I might have to invest in the bigger one if my stamp collection keeps growing.
Check out all the rubber stamps I was able to fit in there. With the dividers in each drawer, I was able to separate my stamps by themes which really helps to find what I am looking for.

Interested in the products I used? Products that are still available are linked to multiple shops below, for your convenience.
Lists may contain affiliate links where possible at no cost to you, what so ever. Affiliate and product disclosure can be found here.
I design for several companies because I genuinely love their products! Anything I recommend on my blog is something that I genuinely love and regularly use. I buy most of my own supplies. However, I do receive some free products to work with, and I sometimes make money for the projects I make. I DO NOT get paid for product reviews, I give my honest opinion about the products I use, and I will never recommend a product that I do not like or would not use.
