Christmas Journal Album

Hello! Today I am sharing a Christmas Journal Album I did. This album was lots of fun to create and was easy too.

For the album itself, I used the Sizzix Full Size Journal Scoreboards Plus Die by Eileen Hull and some Matboard. Then to decorate the album, I used my 8x10 Gel Press and rolled some green paint with a brayer on the Gel Press. Then laid The Crafter's Workshop TCW954 Medieval Music Stencil over it and then a sheet of paper to pull some of the paint up. Then lifted the stencil up and placed the front cover of the album onto the Gel Press.

Then I cleaned my Gel Press off and placed The Crafter's Workshop TCW952 Poinsettia Stencil on the Gel Press and using a brayer rolled on some red paint over the stencil area only. Pulled the stencil up and then placed the front cover of the album on it.

I repeated the steps onto the back cover. Then I added some gold paint and assembled the album. Added some flowers using the Xyron Mini Hot Glue Gun and ribbon and then I was done.

Super Cute Self Binding Accordion Mini Album

Hello! Today I am sharing a cute self-binding accordion mini album that I made using i-Crafter dies.

First I assembled the mini-album by using the following dies from i-Crafter:

Mini Album, Accordion

Mini Album, Divider #1

Mini Album, Divider #2

Mini Album, Divider #3

After assembling the album, I then added a ribbon to the front and back of the album using the Xyron Mega Runner.

Then I used the i-Crafter Water Lily, 3D Dimensional Embossing Folder By Lynda Kanase, and added them to the front and back covers.

This really was an easy album to make. It was just a little time-consuming to adhere all the little die cuts down but using my Xyron Disposable Sticker Maker really helped speed things up by adding adhesive to all of the little die cuts at once.

After adding adhesive to all the die cuts, I then started decorating all the pages with them.

Colorful Daisy Art Journal Page

Hello! Sometimes I like to sit down with no creative plan in mind and just create. Art journals work great for me to do this, I gather up some stencils and different mixed mediums and get to playing. I never know what the finished project will be until I am done. This time I ended up creating a daisy art journal page.

For my art journal, I use an old planner and just glue some of the pages together to make them thicker. Then I painted them with some of The Crafter's Workshop TCW9001 White Gesso. Once the Gesso was dry and randomly prayed some color spray onto the background.

Next, I used The Crafter's Workshop TCW929 Felicia Daisy Stencil and some The Crafter's Workshop TCW Stencil Butter - Gamboge for the petals of the flowers and The Crafter's Workshop TCW Stencil Butter - Marigold for the center of the flowers.

Then I used The Crafter's Workshop TCW933 Joyous Butterfly Stencil with some of The Crafter's Workshop TCW Stencil Butter - Turquoise.

To create the bricks, I used The Crafter's Workshop TCW2304 Bricks Vertical Slimline Stencil with some of The Crafter's Workshop TCW9039 Copper Penny Modeling Paste.

Then to finish my page off, I randomly stamped a brick stamp with a dark grey ink and added some rub-ons and sticker quotes.

Christmas Stocking Mini Album

Hello! Today I am sharing a Christmas Stocking Mini Album that I made. I plan on adding some of my favorite photos that were taken this Christmas to the inside of the album.

I first took each stocking from the Creative Embellishments Stocking Mini Album and ran it through my Xyron Creative Station Lite so I could easily adhere some patterned paper to them. The paper is a really old collection from Basic Grey.

I did this to both sides of the stockings and then used a Fiskars Fingertip craft knife to cut the paper around the chipboard.

On the album cover stocking, I used some Tsukineko Radiant Neon Amplify in White and with a heat tool heated it up so it puffed to give the top of the stocking a fluffy appearance. Then attached a pom pom trim below it.

Then I painted one of the deer from the Creative Embellishments Jumping Deer with some The Crafter's Workshop White Gesso and then sprayed it with some Walnut Ink.

I also painted one of the Hollies from the Creative Embellishments Holly and Berry Set with white gesso and painted it with some red and green acrylic paints. After it dried I then painted it with some gold iridescent paint.

I repeated the same thing for the Joy sentiment which was a custom made chipboard piece from Creative Embellishments.

Art Journal Page Using A Resist Technique

For my art journal page, I first painted my journal page with several colors of acrylic paints and then used The Crafter's Workshop TCW866 Cypress Tree Stencil with some Cosmic Shimmer Resist Paste. Then painted over everything with a light colored acrylic paint. Make sure to watch my video above to see how I did it

I traced around the tree with a Marvy DecoColor Pen in gold.
