Metallic Bokeh New Year Card

Hey, everyone! Happy New Year.... okay, not quite yet but it's not too early to start making your New Year cards. When it comes to colors for new years, I tend to always think of gold, silver, and black so I knew those were the colors I wanted to use. At first, I had in mind to create champagne bubbles, but then it hit me, how about creating a metallic bokeh background!
So, I started digging around in my stash and found some of my favorite metallic inks and sprays from Imagine and came up with this card.....

To see how I created the metallic bokeh effect on the background of my card watch my video below.
Make sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel to get updates when I post a new video.

This technique is super easy to do and looks really cool too! Below are some close-up photos. The metallic shows up so much more in person than it does in the photos.

Another one of my favorite products is irRESISTible Pico Embellisher from Imagine. It works great to outline imagines and for coloring in images too like I did. You can see it in the photos below.

Interested in the products I used? To make them easy for you to find, I have listed them below. Some links used are affiliated links, which means I receive a small commission (at no additional cost to you, what so ever!!) when you click on my links and make a purchase from their store. Affiliate and product disclosure can be found here. This project was created for and sponsored by Imagine.
