Baseball - Let's Get Sketchy

Merry Christmas Eve! I have been so busy this week doing a bunch of last minute things trying to get ready for Christmas that this is the 1st time I've turned my computer on in days. That is normally unheard of for me...lol
Today I would like to share a page I did for Let's Get Sketchy using the latest sketch on their blog.

On busy or dark backgrounds I like to use a lot of Gesso to tone it down some and so that the main focus of the page, the pictures stand out more. Here I did one of my favorite ways to apply Gesso to a page and that is by using an old gift card.

I then sprayed some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Ruby Slippers onto a Styrofoam paper plate and took a lid from a jar and dipped into the mist and randomly stamped it only my page. Then did some splatters and drips with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist Beetle Black.

No idea where I got these red wood bingo pieces but they were kinda fun to use to add dimension to my page. The stars were punched from a piece of cardstock that had a football look and texture on it. No clue who it was made by, I've had it for over 5 years.

The sketch I used for my inspiration.
