Hello! Today I am sharing a mixed media scrapbook layout I created using chipboard from Creative Embellishments. The photo I used is of my son playing the guitar at his school.
Check out my video below to see how I created this scrapbook page.

I first started out with just using silver embossing powder on the Grunge Star Corner Chipboard piece but decided I wanted it to have more color and texture. So I added some Art Anthology Stone Effects Texture Medium and then sprinkled on some penny embossing powder directly onto the texture medium while it was still wet. I then used my heat tool to make it bubble up.
I repeated the same step on one of the Star Doodle Frames.
I used the #cool word from the Social Hashtag chippies and used the silver embossing powder over the texture medium instead of the penny color.
I loved the etching on the Guitar Style 3 chipboard piece and didn't want to cover it up with a bunch of mediums so I sprayed it with some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist and I LOVE the shimmery metallic look it gave to it. On the background, I used the Star Grunge Stamp and the Metal Stencil.
