How To Make Cute Easy Magnets

Coloring is a fun pass time for me and since I am kinda too old to be hanging my coloring pages on the fridge, I found a great alternative. Thanks to Xyron and Derwent Academy!

I have had a bunch of coloring books from Leisure Arts and they have a lot of images that can be fussy cut out so they were perfect for what I wanted to do.

I then started coloring in some images with my Derwent Academy Twin-Tip Markers and Derwent Academy Art Markers.

Once colored I fussy cut them out and ran them through my Xyron Creative Station Lite with the 5" Laminate & Magnetic Refill.

This is what it will look like after running through the Xyron Creative Station and then I fussy cut the flowers out again.
Fussy cutting is not one of my favorite things to do and while cutting the flowers out again for the second time I realized I could have saved myself a step by just roughly cutting the flowers out, ran them through the Xyron Creative Station and then did the fine tune fussy cutting afterward. O-well, lesson learned. ;)

My daughter ended up liking these so much that she colored some for herself and took them to school to decorate the inside of her school locker with.
