The Witch Is In Sign

Today I am sharing a fun sign I created to hang on our door for Halloween. It would also make a great open sign for an office or small business.

StyleTechCraft has provided me with some of the products to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own and I only design for companies that I completely love their products.

I first started with the wood sign and using some DecoArt Americana Paint on a dry paper towel, I rubbed the paint to the front of the pallet to give a washed look and let it dry.

I then made an image to cut out using my Silhouette Studio Designer Edition Software and my Silhouette Cameo to cut it out the image on some StyleTechCraft Matte Black Vinyl. After I cut it out, I placed a piece of StyleTechCraft Clear Transfer Tape with Grid Liner over the cut area and made sure it was stuck down well by using my StyleTechCraft Blue Felt Squeegee. Then I peeled the back of the vinyl off leaving the cut image onto the transfer tape.

After the backing was all peeled off I weeded out the pieces left behind with the pick tool in the StyleTechCraft Tool Kit.

Then placed the transfer tape with the image onto the painted pallet and used and using the squeegee making sure it was adhered down really well before pulling the transfer tape off leaving the image on the pallet.

Then all that is left is to hang your new sign onto a wall or door and enjoy!

Interested in the products I used? Products that are still available are linked to multiple shops below, for your convenience.
Lists may contain affiliate links where possible at no cost to you, what so ever. Affiliate and product disclosure can be found here.
I design for several companies because I truly love their products! Anything I recommend on my blog is something that I genuinely love and regularly use. I buy most of my own supplies. However, I do receive some free product to work with and I sometimes make money for the projects I make. I DO NOT get paid for product reviews, I give my honest opinion about the products I use and I will never recommend a product that I do not like or would not use.
