Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps Anniversary Blog Hop

Hello, and welcome to the Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps Anniversary Blog Hop! Make sure to scroll down to get all the detail and how you could win some prizes.
Here is my inspiration for the hop....

Some of the products I have used have been provided to me from various companies I design for. The opinions I share are solely my own, and I only design for companies that I completely love their products. Affiliate links may be used where possible at no cost to you. However, I do earn a small commission when you click on my links and make a purchase from them. Thank you, and I appreciate your support!

I used the Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps Hydrangea Lg. stamp and on a white piece of cardstock I stamped it with VersaMark. I then heat embossed it with silver embossing powder and colored in the Hydrangea with Copic Markers.

I wanted the Hydrangea to stand out more so I colored the white cardstock with a black Copic Marker around the flower. Then I mounted the image onto some Rinea Silver Glossy Foiled Paper.

To finish my card off, I used the Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps Birthday 8 stamp and stamped it with VersaMark and heat embossed it with silver embossing powder.

Little Birdie Mixed Media Kit With Designer Crafts Connection

Lately, my daughter has been doing a lot of crafts with me and has been really enjoying it too. So far I think this one has been her favorite.

Some of the products I have used have been provided to me from various companies I design for. The opinions I share are solely my own, and I only design for companies that I completely love their products. Affiliate links may be used where possible at no cost to you. Several of us designers from Designer Crafts Connection were given various products from Little Birdie Crafts and I got an Acrylic Paint Pouring Kit.

I have never done a paint pour before so at first I was a little worried. However, my daughter was super excited and couldn't wait to try it. So I let her do the video while I helped.

Below is a video tutorial showing exactly how I created my project.
Make sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel and click the bell so you will get updates when I post a new video.

It is kinda messy but is actually really fun. There really is not a right or wrong way, just as long as you don't stir all the colors together and end up with mud.
We ended up making several different ones

Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps New Release Bog Hop Celebration - Week 3

Welcome to the 3rd week of the Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps Blog Hop! Each week there will be a new release of stamps with each hop. There are also prizes, so make sure to scroll down to find out how to win.

Here is my card using a few of the stamps from the third week of releases.

Some of the products I have used have been provided to me from various companies I design for. The opinions I share are solely my own, and I only design for companies that I completely love their products. Affiliate links may be used where possible at no cost to you. Each week the Crackerbox & Suzy Stamp new releases will be 30% OFF plus FREE SHIPPING in the US and free International shipping on orders over $35.

This was a really simple card to make. I used 3 different colors of teal blue cardstock and cut each one using the Poppystamps Double Stitch Rectangle Dies. Then I ran each diecut piece through my Xyron Creative Station Lite and adhered them to the front of my card from darkest to lightest and finished with the darkest color again to sorta create an ombre look for the border.
Then I used the new Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps Start With Men Stamp and stamped it with VersaFine Clair Warm Breeze and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.
I should have left my card alone at this point as I liked it as it was but for some reason, I decided to add some Glossy Accents to a couple of the diecut rectangles on the frame. It still looks okay but I think I liked it better before I added the glossy accents.
Either way, I absolutely love this stamp from Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps!

Using Copic Markers To Color On Foiled Paper - Hello Cards

Just because we can't see our friends and loved ones right now doesn't mean we can't send them a hello.

My daughter and I made these cards together and since I do not have enough room or chairs in my craft room for us both to work in there I gathered up a bunch of my Copic Markers, put them in Deflecto's Interlocking Marker Organizers and then put them in my Deflecto Caddy Organizer. Added some scissors, adhesives and a few other small items into the caddy containers so I could easily carry it all out to the living room so my daughter and I could spend the day together coloring.

To create the cards, we first took some Silver Glossy Rinea Foiled Paper and embossed them using the Sizzix 3D Mosaic Gems Embossing Folder. Then my daughter and I started coloring in each of the embossed gems with different colors using Copic Markers. This was the most time consuming part so I was really grateful for my daughters help. Once they were all colored, I cut them down to 5 ¼" x 4" and we adhered them to the front of black card bases using my Xyron Mega Runner.
Next, we die cut out a bunch of hellos using Poppystamps Little Halo Hello die and Poppystamps Luscious Script Die using Rinea Foiled Paper in Silver and Ebony in both starstruck and also glossy.

Then ran all the die cut hellos through my Xyron Creative Station Lite and layered the dies up with their shadow cut and adhered them to the front of the cards.

So overall these really were pretty easy cards to make just took some time to do all the coloring but was relaxing and something fun to do my daughter.

We did half of the cards using brighter colors like this one

and the other half we colored in more of a pastel palette like this one.

What crafts have you been doing while being at home? Have you got the family involved or just doing them on your own?
Do you like the bright card or pastel card better?
