Life's A Beach Garden Flag

Today I am sharing a Life's A Beach garden flag that I made. I have had this stake for garden flags for a really long time. It is old and rusty and I have no clue where I got it since I have never had a garden flag before. Since I had it figured I should at least use it.

Some of the products I have used have been provided to me from various companies I design for. The opinions I share are solely my own, and I only design for companies that I completely love their products. Affiliate links may be used where possible at no cost to you. However, I do earn a small commission when you click on my links and make a purchase from them. Thank you, and I appreciate your support!

Using my Silhouette Studio Designer Edition Software and an SVG file I found online.

I separated the bottom ocean part from the sun part so I could cut them out separately using my Silhouette Cameo 4 set to the glossy vinyl cutting settings.

I cut the sun part out using StyleTechCraft Yellow Opal Vinyl.

and the ocean part in StyleTechCraft Blue Opal Vinyl.

Then I added some StyleTechCract Clear Transfer Tape over the cut designs and pealed the back of the vinyl transferring it to the transfer tape.

Using the pick from the StyleTechCraft Tool Kit I weeded out the vinyl pieces that were left behind when I peeled the back off.

Then I transfer the images to my flag. To create the flag I used a plastic party table cover that I got at Walmart for less than a dollar. Cut it into a 13" strip the full width of the table cover and folded it in half twice. Then glued the bottom of the flag together leaving it open at the top so I could slide it onto the stake.

Then all I did was put it in my garden for everyone to see. :)

Interested in the products I used? Products that are still available are linked to multiple shops below, for your convenience.

I design for several companies because I genuinely love their products! Anything I recommend on my blog is something that I genuinely love and regularly use. I buy most of my own supplies. However, I do receive some free products to work with, and I sometimes make money for the projects I make. I DO NOT get paid for product reviews, I give my honest opinion about the products I use, and I will never recommend a product that I do not like or would not use.
