Christmas Bird House Easel Card With Poppystamps Dies

Hello! Today I am sharing a Christmas Bird House Easel Card I made. I have always liked shaped cards but do not make them that often for some reason. I am thinking I should start.

I used one of Poppystamps' new Christmas dies, the Bird House Pop Up Easel Set.  For the birdhouse itself, I used one of the papers from the Memory Box Garland Paper Pad and for the snow, on the roof, I used the white paper from the Memory Box Frosted Glitter Paper Pad. For the wreath around the birdhouse opening, I used some green cardstock and then used Fairy Sugar in Ruby Crystals for the berries on the twigs. Cut the bird out in red cardstock and colored in some black with a Copic Marker around the face. To adhere all the little die cut pieces down I used my Xyron "X" Sticker Maker, this little machine is the best for adding adhesive to the back of die cuts.

Above you can see how the card looks when it is standing but here is what it looks like when laying flat. It will fit perfectly into an A2 size envelope.

and here is a close-up of my card...

I design for several companies because I genuinely love their products! Anything I recommend on my blog is something that I genuinely love and regularly use. I buy most of my own supplies. However, I do receive some free products to work with, and I sometimes make money for the projects I make. I DO NOT get paid for product reviews, I give my honest opinion about the products I use, and I will never recommend a product that I do not like or would not use.
