Hello crafty friends! Today I am sharing a ribbon weaved heart Valentine's Day card. This card is easier than it looks to create and has such a pretty outcome.
Some of the products I have used in this post have been provided to me by various companies. The opinions I share are solely my own. Affiliate links may be used where possible at no cost to you. However, I do earn a small commission when you click on my link and make a purchase from them. Thank you, and I appreciate your support!
The first step was to cut out a heart from a 4" x 5.25" white piece of cardstock and then I used the cutout heart to trace onto a 4.25" x 5.50" piece of patterned paper.
Then using my Xyron Mega Runner, I ran adhesive around the traced heart and through the middle of the heart too.
Next, I cut strips of the Gwen Studios Red Sheer Ribbon and started cross layering starting from the top center of the heart.
I continued laying until the heart was covered. Then cut all of the ends of the ribbon to make sure they were not too close to the edge of the card front. Then added foam tape to the white cardstock piece that I cut the heart out of and added it to the woven ribbon card front.
Then I added some heart sequins and stamped a small sentiment on the front.

I design for several companies because I genuinely love their products! Anything I recommend on my blog is something that I genuinely love and regularly use. I buy most of my own supplies. However, I do receive some free products to work with, and I sometimes make money for the projects I make. I DO NOT get paid for product reviews, I give my honest opinion about the products I use, and I will never recommend a product that I do not like or would not use.
