Easter Blessing Egg Shaped Card

If you are here for the Creative Embellishment & SpiegelMom Scraps Blog Hop, click HERE.

Hello, crafty friends! Today I have an Easter card to share with you using the Brutus Monroe March Stamp Club Set. This set has a total of five stamps: a cute bunny stamp, three egg stamps, and an Easter Blessings sentiment.

I first hand cut out an egg shape from the Brutus Monroe Alabaster Premium Cardstock. Then I folded a piece of yellow cardstock in half. I placed the white egg shape piece on the yellow cardstock with the top of the egg near the fold line of the yellow cardstock. Then I cut around the white egg shape slightly bigger, so the yellow will mat the white egg but not cutting the area where the cardstock is folded. The folded section of the yellow cardstock will be the hinge to your card so that it will open and close.

I stamped the bunny image with Brutus Monroe Raven Detail Ink using my Misti Stamp Tool onto the white egg shape and then stamped it onto a piece of Brutus Monroe Masking Paper. From the Masking Paper, I cut the bunny out and laid it over the bunny image on the egg shape. Then stamped some of the egg images behind the bunny. I did the same thing with the Masking Paper for some of the egg stamps, so it looks like some are behind other ones.

I colored my image in with Copic markers and colored and die cut out a butterfly from the Brutus Monroe Butterfly Sentiment Set. I airbrushed some sky and some grass and then adhered the white egg to my yellow egg card base and adhered the butterfly and I was done.

I hope I inspired you to give it a try and make sure to check out the Brutus Monroe Stamp Club. You don't want to miss out on it! Each month's set is ONLY $5! That includes shipping and handling, AND you will also get 10% off of your everyday regular priced purchases from the Brutus Monroe Shop.
