Take Your Broken Wings and Learn To Fly Again

Hello! Today I have a card that I made using some stamps and a stencil from Visible Image. I really love the Take Your Broken Wings and Fly Again sentiment from the Visible Image Learn To Fly Again stamp set.

For the background, I used the Visible Image Time Tunnel stencil. I taped the stencil down to a 4" x 5.25" piece of white cardstock and using a Yoseng Brush Set to blend in VersaFine Clair Cheerful ink over the stencil. Then I repeated the process but I rotated the stencil slightly so it was offset to the first layer I did and this time I used VersaFine Clair in Golden Meadow.  This was my first time using the Yoseng Brushes and I absolutely love them. The ink blended so easily and the were less than half the price than the expensive ink blending blushes.

I used the sun stamp from the Visible Image Look Foward With Hope stamp set and stamped it with VersaFine Clair Nocturne. Then I stamped the birds and the sentiment from the Visible Image Learn To Fly Again stamp set also in VersaFine Clair Nocturne using my Misti Stamp Tool. VersaFine Clair is great for using embossing powder with, it is smudge-proof almost right away but it can be embossed up to 5 min after stamping with it. So once I had everything stamped and inked, I poured some Clear Mboss Embossing Powder over the entire card front and heat set it.

I design for several companies because I truly love their products! Anything I recommend on my blog is something that I genuinely love and regularly use. I buy most of my own supplies. However, I do receive some free product to work with and I sometimes make money for the projects I make. I DO NOT get paid for product reviews, I give my honest opinion about the products I use and I will never recommend a product that I do not like or would not use.
